Vince Chiaravalli heads the brokerage division, and brings with him eight years experience as a sales agent, formerly of Smith Dean. Mr. Chiaravalli earned the designation, Certified Hotel Broker (CHB), from Hotel Brokers International in 2001. During his six years with Smith Dean, Vince was involved in the sale of 18 hotels. In addition to selling hotels, Vince has also been involved with Property Tax Appeals of hotels and motels for over 15 years, and has successfully negotiated the reduction of thousands of dollars of real estate taxes for various hotel and motel owners throughout Michigan and the Midwest.

BROKER OPINION OF VALUE - BOV

A BOV can be a useful and an economic alternative in obtaining a property value where an appraisal is not required. A BOV can be used for most situations requiring the discovery of value, other than obtaining value for a federally regulated lender. A BOV can be used to determine value for tax purposes, disposition value, partnership or corporate dissolution, property tax appeals, etc.
